The story of Kid's Sports Reviews began with a big move across the pond. Dolly and Daniel and their enthusiastic kids relocated from the UK to the USA. Used to the world of football (soccer) and rugby, they found themselves on the sidelines of a completely different game. Baseball diamonds, gridirons, and basketball courts were mysteries to explore.

But amidst the confusion, something shone brightly: the incredible sense of community and teamwork that comes with youth sports in America. Their children wanted to participate, but navigating the unfamiliar equipment and rules proved challenging. So began their journey – a quest to understand these new sports, decipher the gear their kids needed, and ultimately, become part of the supportive sports community.

What surprised them most? They weren't alone. As they chatted with other parents on the sidelines, they realized many American families, even those born and raised here, felt just as lost in the world of youth sports. This sparked the idea for Kid's Sports Reviews.

Over time, the blog has grown beyond Bernice and Daniel's experiences. They've incorporated the insights of friends and family, some of whom were born athletes, some seasoned coaches, and others who, like them, were initially clueless about the intricacies of American sports. This diverse team brings a wealth of perspectives to the table, ensuring our reviews and guides cater to a wide range of needs.
